Wash your hands and make sure you have all ingredients at hand.
Cover the baking tray with baking paper. Heat up the oven to 200°C.
Break eggs in a big bowl. Add sugar and beat with an electric mixer until light and fluffy. This should take about 5 minutes.
Mix wheat flour, cocoa powder, baking powder and vanilla sugar in another bowl.
Put the butter in a microwave-proof bowl, cover it with a cloche and let it melt.
Add dry ingredients, melted butter and milk to egg-sugar foam, step by step. Mix with a spatula, but not too much so that the foam won’t get flat.
Cover the baking tray with baking paper and spread the dough everywhere. Bake for 10 to 15 minutes in the oven. To make sure your brownies are ready, put a stick in the middle of the brownie base: no dough should stick on it.
Melt the butter. Make coffee for the frosting or use previously make coffee. Mix all frosting ingredients in a bowl with a spoon. Add enough icing sugar to make the frosting easy to spread.
Spread the frosting on the brownie base when the base is still warm. Decorate with nonpareils – just the way you want.
Let the frosting solidify before cutting the brownie base into 30 pieces.
"My brownies taste better than most brownies at school jumble sales.”
Tell us about your fav recipe? I bake brownies to our football tournaments and school jumble sales. I also make these for parties and for myself whenever I feel like eating goodies. My brownies are better than the ones sold at jumble sales because my brownie base does not fall flat. I top them with coffee & chocolate frosting.

Whose kitchen you’d love to visit? Teemu Pukki’s – he’s the best football player! I’ve also played since the first grade, and this is my first year on higher level (Helsinki City Football Academy).
