This lovely salad is very easy to make: just put veggies and mozzarella in a bowl and season well. Simple ingredients and surprising avocado-lemon oil – have you tried it already? This is the fav recipe of Inkeri who cooks on Carrot Kitchen’s videos.

Inkeri’s Mozzarella Salad

  • 2 tomatoes
  • 2 mozzarella balls
  • 1 pot of basil
  • 1 tbsp avocado-lemon oil
  • salad (such as iceberg lettuce or baby spinach)
  • a pinch of black pepper
  1. Time to get going!

    Wash you hands and check that you have all ingredients at hand.

  2. Prep the tomatoes and mozzarella

    Wash the tomatoes and chop them into big chunks. Put the chunks in a salad bowl. Drain the mozzarella and cut it into big chunks or slices. Add them in the bowl.

  3. Basil & lettuce

    Carefully remove the basil leaves from the stems so that they remain intact. Rinse and tear the lettuce. If you use baby spinach, rinsing the leaves is enough.

  4. Mix everything together

    Put basil and lettuce in the bowl. Add 1 tbsp of avocado-lemon oil and a pinch of freshly ground pepper. Mix the ingredients with salad servers or spoon and fork. Clean the kitchen before eating.

  5. Time to enjoy!

    This salad tastes delicious with toasted bread, pizza and pasta.
